Subject Matter and Parties to the Contract

These General Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between:

And the User: any individual over 18 years of age who contracts the luggage storage rental service through www.lockercuenca.es or in person at the establishment. Acceptance of these terms and conditions is a prerequisite for entering into a contract.

The Service and the Instructions

LOCKER CUENCA offers luggage and personal belongings storage for rent at C/ Tintes 11, 16001 Cuenca. The service consists exclusively of... rental of physical space The User is solely responsible for the goods placed in the consignment, not for safekeeping.

Access Hours

The establishment remains open every day of the year from 7:00 to 23:00 hours, LOCKER CUENCA reserves the right to modify the schedule for justified reasons, communicating it as far in advance as possible.

Rental duration

The period The minimum rental period is 1 hour.. The calculation begins when the User accesses the storage unit. All packages must be removed before [time]. 23:00 h of the contracted day.

Requirements for Hiring

  • Be over 18 years old.
  • Provide truthful and accurate information on the booking form (name, surname, telephone, email, date, luggage size and payment details).
  • Expressly accept these General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
  • Have a valid payment method accepted by LOCKER CUENCA.
The User guarantees that the data provided is truthful and is responsible for any damage caused by false or incomplete information.

Prices, Payment and Overtime Penalties

All prices include the VAT. The current rates are as follows:

⚠ Overtime or fraction thereof + 2,00 € + 2,50 € + 3,00 €

The overtime penalty is automatically applied when the User exceeds the contracted period. Any fraction of an hour already started is counted as a full hour. Payment is due at the time of booking, which will not be confirmed until payment is received.

LOCKER CUENCA reserves the right to modify rates without affecting reservations already confirmed and paid for.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be made in writing to privacidad@lockercuenca.es. In accordance with Article 103.l) of Royal Decree-Law 1/2007 (LGDCU), the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to rental services linked to a specific date or period.

User Obligations

  • Remove the packages before the 23:00 h of the contracted day.
  • Leave the item in the same condition you found it, free of debris and undamaged.
  • Report any breakdown or incident at the establishment immediately or through privacidad@lockercuenca.es.
  • Do not transfer the use of the slogan to unauthorized third parties.
  • Safeguard the provided access code or key diligently.
  • Access the premises solely for depositing or retrieving luggage of the contracted consignment, and not to remain in it longer than strictly necessary for that operation —as a guideline, no more than 10 minutes—.
  • Do not remain, wait, stay overnight, or carry out any activity on the premises other than using the lockers. LOCKER CUENCA reserves the right to refuse service. right of admission and may require the immediate departure of anyone who violates this rule, without the right to a refund. The premises are under video surveillance.

Prohibited Items

The following are expressly prohibited in the lockers:

🔥 Hazardous materials
Explosive, flammable, toxic, corrosive or radioactive
⚠️ Illicit items
Weapons, drugs, or any goods whose possession is illegal
🐾 Living beings
Animals or organisms of any kind
🥗 Unpackaged foods
Unpackaged food or drink that may spoil
Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of the contract without refund and notification to the competent authorities.

Objects of Special Value

LOCKER CUENCA does not recommend depositing cash, jewelry, original identity documents, or high-value electronic devices. The decision to deposit these items is the sole responsibility of the user, who assumes all risks associated with that decision.

LOCKER CUENCA's Responsibility

  • LOCKER CUENCA is not responsible for theft, loss or damage to deposited items, unless there is intent or serious negligence directly attributable to LOCKER CUENCA.
  • In case of theft or robbery, the User must file a complaint with the competent police authorities.
  • LOCKER CUENCA's maximum liability will be limited to the amount paid by the User for the contracted service.

Damage to the Signs

The User will be liable for physical damage caused by misuse. They must pay: (i) the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged module, and (ii) compensation for lost profits equivalent to the daily rental price for each day the storage unit remains unusable. The maximum cost of replacing a complete module is calculated at 1.500 €, unless otherwise technically assessed.

Items Not Collected at Closing

If the User does not remove their belongings before 11:00 PM, LOCKER CUENCA may:

  1. Contact the User using the information provided in the booking to inform them of the situation.
  2. Apply the corresponding overtime rate for each hour or fraction thereof that exceeds the contracted hours.
  3. If after 24 hours If the User has not removed their belongings and paid for the additional time after the rental period ends, the items may be considered abandoned and managed in accordance with current regulations.
The 24-hour period begins counting from the end time of the last contracted or paid period. If the situation is not rectified within this period, LOCKER CUENCA will be authorized to take action in accordance with the regulations regarding abandoned property.

Breakdowns and Incidents

In case of breakdown or blockage, the User must report it immediately to the establishment or through privacidad@lockercuenca.es. If the breakdown is attributable to LOCKER CUENCA and prevents the use of the locker for more than 4 hours, the User will be entitled to compensation equivalent to the price of the period not enjoyed.

Data Protection

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy from LOCKER CUENCA, available at www.lockercuenca.es, in accordance with the GDPR (EU) 2016/679 and the LOPDGDD (LO 3/2018).

Modification of the Conditions

LOCKER CUENCA reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The applicable terms and conditions will be those in effect at the time of booking. Modifications will not affect contracts already in force.

Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law, in particular by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (LGDCU), Law 7/1998 on General Terms and Conditions of Contract and the Civil Code.

The parties agree to the Courts and Tribunals of Cuenca, unless the User has the status of a consumer, in which case the jurisdiction of their domicile will apply.
